Rachel Lozosky promoting the Fredericktown Library event this Friday appropriately termed a “Sip of Summer” and it IS a great event.
Mike Pecosh happy to have completed a “bar crawl” on Main Street and finished up at Liberty Pole (Ellen and Jim were great hosts).
Betsy Trew promoting her Club’s Rubber Ducky Derby on Saturday; $5 can get you a chance to win $1,000-$500 or $250; buy a duck and have fun. This is their big fundraiser and many of our members support it.
Phil Rush happy his granddaughter is 1 ½ years “Cancer Free”. Great news and let’s hope it is 10xs that!
Trip Kline brought out a “Hamilton” (not the play) to again promote the Whiskey Festival, all over in 3 weeks.
Tom Drewitz happy to spend Father’s Day Weekend with his family in Maryland and his wonderful granddaughter!
Joe Marsh thanks to all for attending and supporting the flag ceremony as we continue to honor our Vets

Christy Rowing happy one child out on mission work and the oldest graduated and off for a summer job and for the 50+ teenagers working on the West End Projects…great group and working hard to improve the area.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

  • Rotary Foundation Chairman Dave Hart, reminds all that Foundation Giving for 2017-2018 may be billed on a quarterly basis. “Every Rotarian Every Year” $100 to the Annual Fund. You may also pledge, if desired, to the Water Treatment, Polio Plus, Micro Loans. See Dave for details…he’s always available!
  • Hamilton Ticket fund raising is winding down – you may still buy or sell tickets and the BIG FINAL push is on

Kickoff Cash Bash!

President Rich introduced Past President Joe to explain the “Kickoff Cash Bash” to be held on Saturday, September 9. Flyers were distributed and questions/discussions followed. In addition to the Club selling others will be involved (W&J and the Theater Group). The $50 tickets include admission, free food and beverages all day. A classic 50/50 and a 70/30 will be held and major college football games and those of local interest will be broadcast under the Main Street Pavilion. There will be more on this to come – let’s get behind this effort to raise funds for the Washington Park Main Pavilion Project.
 
DON’T BE AFRAID TO VOLUNTEER AS IT WILL BE FUN AND NO HEAVY LIFTING!!!
ANYONE HAVE ANY COLLEGE “SWAG” THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO LEND FOR DECORATIONS??
